Accident involving a biker - Would you know what to do?

If you were the first on the scene of an accident involving a biker, would you know what to do? Would you know who is most at risk, how to protect the area or whether you should remove the helmet of a downed rider?

We offer a FREE course for bikers, the Biker Down course, a four-hour training course run by bikers for bikers, specifically designed to answer these uncertainties.

New for 2025 - Cheshire Fire will be running a limited number of new courses called RespondSMART. This course will be for bikers who want to put into practice what they have learnt on Biker Down in a immersive environment. The course will run over 4 hours from Cheshire Fire & Rescue Services Winsford Training Centre on the August and November dates.

The day will involve a number of  realistic scenarios where attendees will be required to get hands on, they will develop their theoretical skills from Biker Down in safe approach, scene safety & casualty care but by doing it for real this time. 

Attendees on RespondSMART will have had to of already attended Biker Down to be able to book on to the course and the course size are limited to a smaller number to allow and enable the course objectives to be delivered with the greatest benefit. If your interested please book onto the May, August or November dates - but remember you will have needed to of completed Biker Down first!!
