Description
In ECU102 - Teaching Mathematics through Chess training course, mathematical ideas are expressed through chess - the board, the pieces and play.
The basis of the teaching method is that problem-solving is more natural and accessible in a game environment. Children love to play and are motivated to search for a winning strategy. The course presents a number of exercises that have been tested in the classroom and refined accordingly. The emphasis is on innovative ways to teach problem-solving methods. The course derives from the Erasmus+ CHAMPS Project.
If you are a math or a chess teacher/tutor ready to learn new ideas to make your lessons more successful this is the course for you.
