Red Carpet Makeup with Andrea Samuels!

Chicago Makeup School is beyond excited to announce Red Carpet Makeup workshop, featuring the incredible Andrea Samuels!

Andrea's bio:

Andrea Samuels, is an award- winning celebrity makeup artist, hair stylist, and educator. Andrea began her creative career drawing and sketching people at the age of two. At age nine, she earned a scholarship to take a semester of art college courses at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago. Andrea's passion for art merged into makeup when she experimented with makeup for her senior prom. 

Soon after, Andrea graduated from Makeup First school and started chasing her dreams. She began assisting celebrity artists like Sir John, DeShawn Hatcher, Gucci Westman and the late AJ Crimson. Andrea worked on NYFW runway shows as a Key Makeup Artist. She then moved from Chicago to LA, where she became successful and was signed by a reputable agency. 

In 2020, Andrea ventured into hairstyling to add to her arsenal of skills and earned a Cosmetology License from Paul Mitchell School in California. She has worked with clients such as Versace, Gucci, Nike, Target, Hall of Fame Dwayne Wade, and the king of the West coast: Snoop Dogg.

About the workshop

Andrea is thrilled to share her invaluable knowledge and techniques with the attendees. During the workshop, Andrea will delve into the world of men's grooming, helping you master the art of creating flawless looks for male clients. She will also guide you to understand the deep undertones of your clients, ensuring you can perfect match their skin tones every time. 

But that is not all! Andrea will demonstrate a stunning red carpet look on fabulous female model, giving you an exclusive peek into the secrets of creating that perfect celebrity look. She will also be sharing her insights on the red carpet essentials, giving you the inside scoop on how to ensure makeup lasts for hours for award shows like the Emmy's, Oscar's, Grammy's, and The Met Gala. Andrea will talk about her favorite products and tools which helps her create phenomenal looks. Finally, she will discuss agency representation and how to market yourself in another region, city, or state, as well as the steps to take to be represented by one of the top agencies in USA.

Demo will be followed by hands- on practice. The attendees will work on each other.

PLEASE NOTE: The ticket is non-refundable but transferable to another workshop.
