Chicago Puzzle Club - "Puzzle with Pride" Speed Puzzle Competition & Puzzle Swap - June 28, 2025

Chicago Puzzle Club is a Chicago-based group with the mission to build and grow the puzzle community in and around Chicago. We host various monthly puzzle events throughout the year.

In June 2025 and in celebration of Pride month, we are hosting our 2nd annual Pride speed puzzle competition in Chicago where teams of up to 4 people compete to finish a 1,000-piece rainbow-themed puzzle within a 2.5-hour time limit. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams! Feel free to come dressed in a festive or colorful attire. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to Trans Lifeline, a peer support and crisis hotline 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization offering phone support to transgender people.

We will also have a table for an optional puzzle swap where you can take a puzzle in exchange for each puzzle that you drop off.

Additional Information:

• One ticket will cover a team of up to 4 people and includes the competition puzzle, puzzle bag, and free snacks and beverages.
• Teams can take home their puzzle used in the competition.
• The puzzle swap will be open at 12:30pm.
• Puzzle competition starts promptly at 1:00pm and will end at 3:30pm. For teams that don’t finish the puzzle within the allotted time, remaining pieces will be tallied for the ranking.
• There is limited street parking, so we recommend planning accordingly so that you can make it in time for the competition.
• There will be a chance to win door prizes.
  
• This event is open to individuals 16 years of age and older.
• No alcohol is allowed, but feel free to bring your own non-alcoholic drinks or snacks.
• Competition will be held in the fieldhouse clubroom at Chicago Park District Hamlin (Hannibal) Park (3035 N. Hoyne Avenue, Chicago, IL 60613). Please note that the event will be on the 2nd floor, and the building does not have an elevator.

Deadline to register is Wednesday, June 25, 2025. No refunds after registration closes.
