Youth Justice Service ‘high-risk’ management panels across England are a multi-agency co-ordinated approach to monitor and address concerns related to children’s behaviour, harm, safety, and well-being. This interactive webinar will provide a space to hear about the use of these panels in England, to reflect upon the extent to which practitioners work in meaningful ways with children identified as ‘high-risk’ and to consider how these risk management processes and practices can be improved so that they align with children’s participation rights.

This webinar will be delivered by two guest speakers, namely:

  • Dr Samantha Burns; a Research Associate at the Manchester Centre for Youth Studies. Samantha is also co-chair of the National Association of Youth Justice and advisory board member at Peer Power Youth.

Everyone is welcome to attend, but it is likely that practitioners from youth justice services, social care, police service, Inspectorate, researchers/ students, education and health are most likely to benefit from this webinar.

A Teams link to this event will be emailed to you upon completion of your order, with a reminder sent 24 hours in advance of the webinar.
