Summary:

Reframing Exploitation, A Protective, Rights-Based Response Launch of the CEC Framework for Practice

Placing children’s rights and safety at the centre and challenging systems that criminalise instead of protect.

Join us for the launch of Scotland’s CEC Framework for Practice a new national resource developed by Action for Children and CYCJ, with funding from The Promise Partnership.

The Framework provides a shared language, clear principles, to help professionals identify, assess, and respond to the criminal exploitation of children. Grounded in existing Scottish legislation and guidance, it supports a protective, rights-upholding approach.

This webinar will:

  • Introduce the Framework and its underpinning principles
  • Launch a new e-learning module
  • Outline training and implementation support for services

Open to all sectors working with children and young people from education and social work to health, justice, and community services.

Criminal exploitation is child abuse. It demands a child protection response. Let’s get it right, together.
