Child Protection Masterclass

This masterclass provides professionals with the essential knowledge and understanding needed to recognise their safeguarding responsibilities and work effectively with others to protect children.

This course will develop an awareness of professionals’ responsibilities to safeguard children and the key processes that underpin this.

Participants will:
• understand their roles and responsibilities to safeguard children
• understand the role and remit of the Children’s MARS Board
• understand how you apply statutory guidance
• understand the importance of information sharing and interagency
working
• understand private fostering
• understand the principles of Working Together to safeguard children

By booking a place on this training, there is an expectation that you will attend the full session. You will be asked to provide your manager’s name when booking. If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible by email to MARS@northlincs.gov.uk and copy your manager into the notification. Non-attendance without prior notification will be followed up with your line manager.
