It's easy to be intimidated by these powerful programs, but nothing empowers you in the face of uncertainty like knowledge, and that's exactly what our guest speaker has! Dr. Selmer Bringsjord is professor of Logic, Cognitive Science and Computer Science, and the Director of the Rensselaer Artificial Intelligence and Reasoning lab at RPI, where he and his team conduct research on AI systems. His lab creates models not unlike the ones we are all using on a daily basis without even realizing it.
