Growing Quality Documentation and Planning for Individual Learners
How can we ensure our documentation captures meaningful learning and informs intentional teaching that makes a real difference for tamariki?
In this session, we will explore how to write robust, meaningful learning stories that go beyond describing experiences to recognise learning, make connections to Te Whāriki, and identify opportunities for future learning. We will also explore how to develop purposeful individual plans that reflect each child's strengths, interests and whānau aspirations.
Through a range of practical activities and discussions, you will explore examples of quality documentation, share ideas and consider how we can strengthen our approach to individual planning to better support the learning and development of tamariki.
Course runs from 9am-12noon (morning tea provided). Becca will also be presenting a second course in this venue on this day, Pathways to School, from 1-4 pm on May 29th 2027 if you are interested in a full day of professional development.
