Creating a cohesive team - Christchurch
Presented by Bobbi-Jo Burkitt
Working in a cohesive team can work wonders for team well-being, contribution, and sense of centre-wide community. This three-hour course is intended for kaiako and leaders who want to learn new strategies to strengthen team cohesion and unity. We will explore areas such as the importance of collaboration, and how you can guide your team towards a similar trajectory and sense of purpose. Topics we will cover:
- New team members and induction
- Building relationships
- Holding one another accountable
- Team building
- Decision making
- Dreaming big together: team vision and striving for more
“Teamwork makes the dream work,” so please come prepared to share ideas, insights, and kōrero as we collectively explore just how we can instill more unity and cohesion among our teams.
Course runs from 1pm-4pm (afternoon tea provided). Bobbi-Jo will also be presenting a second course in this venue on this day, Self-Regulation, Social, and Behaviour Competencies, from 9am-12noon on Saturday 21st August 2027 if you are interested in a full day of professional development.
