What to expect

The Outcome Stars are a family of over 30 evidence-based tools for measuring and supporting change. Tailored to specific sectors, the stars have been developed in collaboration with service-users, service providers, and commissioners. This training covers the Music Therapy Outcome StarTM. Whether you work within an organisation or as an individual practitioner, best practice in Music Therapy work consistently evidences the many valuable and practical advantages to using outcome measures. The Music Therapy StarTM has been designed specifically for children and adults receiving individual or group music therapy.

Join our online training delivered by one of our experienced music therapists and licensed Music Therapy Star Outcome Measure trainers.

The training will be held on zoom and appropriate breaks and support will be offered throughout.

Requirements of participants

***You must be a registered Music Therapist with HCPC or a student completing their MA in Music Therapy to complete this training.***

A license must be purchased from Triangle Consulting to use the Music Therapy StarTM. Find out more about the license with Triangle Consulting via their website: https://www.outcomesstar.org.uk/contact-us/

Or, if you are a freelancer, you can join Chiltern Music Therapy's freelancers licence account after completing the Outcome Star training. This removes the account fee cost of £250, and allows you access to the Star Online platform, all the stars, including the music therapy star, for an annual fee of £50.
