Join Chi Picnic Club for a special evening celebrating Puerto Rican culture, community, and connection along the Chicago lakefront.

One of Chi Picnic Club’s owners, Jay, is from Puerto Rico. After making Chicago home, he wanted to create an experience that brings together members of the city’s incredible Puerto Rican community. Chicago is home to one of the largest Puerto Rican diasporas in the country, with a culture and history that have become an important part of the city itself.

During Hispanic Heritage Month, we couldn’t think of a better time to gather, celebrate where we come from, support Puerto Rican-owned businesses, and meet fellow Boricuas in Chicago. 🇵🇷❤️

We’ll spend the evening at Montrose Harbor, surrounded by beautiful views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline, while enjoying one of Chi Picnic Club’s signature curated picnic setups and tablescapes.

We’re partnering with Puerto Rican-owned small businesses to provide the food, drinks, and a few special surprises throughout the evening—including a tasting featuring Puerto Rican liqueurs!

Your experience will include:

• Additional surprises from Puerto Rican-owned businesses
• A beautifully styled lakeside picnic
• Plenty of time to eat, mingle, and connect

This celebration will also give back to the island. For every ticket sold, Chi Picnic Club will donate $3 to Project PR, a disaster-relief organization that helps deliver clean drinking water to communities across Puerto Rico during shortages.

Whether you were born on the island, grew up in a Puerto Rican household, recently moved to Chicago, or simply want to celebrate and connect with the community and other Latinos, you’re invited.
