Dr. Crystal Draper, DC

Dr. Crystal Draper is the Director of Professional Practice at the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA). She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science Degree in Human Kinetics and Developmental Psychology from the University of Guelph and is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). In addition to her work at the CCA, Dr. Draper practices downtown Toronto at her family-based interdisciplinary clinic, focusing on pregnancy and postpartum care. Prior to joining the CCA, Dr. Draper was a course coordinator for Clinical Diagnosis and Female Care at CMCC and taught within the Chiropractic Techniques and Chiropractic Principles departments. She continues to contribute as an Assistant Professor by lecturing in Female Care. Dr. Draper has a number of peer-reviewed journal articles and has presented research at various conferences both nationally and internationally. In 2025, she was honoured with the Ontario Chiropractic Association’s Dr. Michael Brickman Heart and Hands Award.

Dr. Carol-Ann Weis, MSc, DC

Dr. Carol Ann Weis practices at a busy interprofessional clinic in mid-town Toronto. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a BA (Hons) in physical education (1992), an MSc in Kinesiology (1997) and from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 2008. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Weis is an Associate Professor at CMCC where she lectures and conducts research on back pain in the pregnant and postpartum populations, is the course coordinator and main lecturer for Female Care, chairs the Clinical Diagnosis Department and works as an occasional clinical supervisor at CMCC. She is an assistant clinical professor (adjunct) in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at McMaster University. She has presented her research at a number of conferences nationally and internationally, published articles in peer-reviewed journals and co-authored the book The Athletic Mom-to-Be: Training Your Way into Pregnancy. In 2020, Dr. Weis received the Ontario Chiropractic Association’s inaugural Research and Academic Award, as well as an Education Research Award from NBCE in 2024.
