HAGIOGRAPHY: A Musical Pilgrimage Through the Lives of the Saints

The arcane but very human lives of the Christian saints are rife in wild legends and fascinating factual past with which to orient ourselves in the constellation of Western history and culture. Celtic folk band The Chivalrous Crickets, and early church music ensemble TheotokosNYC join forces to present this special All Saints' concert, illuminating the lives of Saints George, Margaret, Nicolas, Patrick, Genevieve, Brigit, Valentine, Sebastian, Joseph the Hymnographer, Joan of Arc and others through original songs and cantatas influenced by Celtic, folk, Baroque, Medieval, liturgical chant and modern musical styles.
