I'm Chlöe Lodge - an Oxfordshire-based photographer with over twenty years of international experience across six countries, and a deep, quiet obsession with the details other people walk past.

I work like a photojournalist: present without being in the way, waiting for the moment that tells the whole story.

I create like an artist: with intention, with feeling, with images that last.

My work has been recognised by Nikon and Panasonic Lumix, and I'm the author of For the Love of the Photograph - a book rooted in teaching the essence of storytelling. But the thing I care about most isn't equipment or accolades, it's helping people understand the human experience behind a photographic choice, so they stop just capturing images and start speaking in light.

Teaching has run alongside my photography since 2012 including photography retreats in Goa and New Zealand, one-to-ones with people all over the world, a three-month online course, year-long recurring projects and currently From the Photograph to a Language in Light, a year-long exploration of light I'm running through Substack and downloadable PDFs right now.

From conversations over coffee to longer retreats and workshops, I love bringing people together to talk honestly about imagery, brand and the thread that should run through both.
