WHAT YOUR TICKET GETS YOU:

Your low-cost $10 ticket gets you access to various Vietnamese food stations, interactive art and portrait exhibit, pop-up photobooth, main stage speakers and open mic reflections.

This is a non-profit event where any proceeds will go to support Chúng Ta Cùng Nhau (“We are Together”)’s operating costs and help our Vietnamese-Canadian grassroots initiative based in Edmonton, Alberta create more in-person and digital spaces where adult children of immigrants can reflect on, reclaim, and reconnect with their cultural heritage!

WHO IS THIS EVENT FOR?

Chúng Ta Cùng Nhau events and programs are designed for the Vietnamese diaspora—especially adult children of immigrants—because they speak directly to our shared cultural heritage, identity, and generational experiences. That said, the themes we explore—family sacrifice, resilience, growing up between cultures, and the immigrant Canadian experience—resonate far beyond the Vietnamese community. While it will feel most meaningful if you are Vietnamese or connected to the Vietnamese-Canadian experience, our spaces are ultimately open and welcoming to anyone who wishes to listen, learn, and reflect alongside us. We believe that by centering Vietnamese voices, we also create opportunities for broader understanding, empathy, and connection across communities.

Our November 26, 2025 event is open to all ages and we welcome Vietnamese families to attend together.

MORE EVENT INFORMATION

Join us for a special evening of reflection through art, food, stories and memories. This event acknowledges the 50th anniversary year of the Fall of Saigon, a significant historical event which led to the exodus of hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese refugees who resettled around the world, including here in Canada. Many Vietnamese-Canadians and Vietnamese-Edmontonians are or have ancestors who immigrated to Canada as a result of the Fall of the Saigon. The evening will feature speakers, interactive and immersive art experiences including a ‘Faces of Vietnamese-Edmontonians’ portrait exhibit from Dawn Graves Photography, pop-up portraits with Be My Guest Portraits, delicious Vietnamese food from King Noodle House Pho Hoang, Mai Mai Viet Street Kitchen, Kim Fat Market, and more, plus many meaningful moments for reflection! We encourage you to attend with your family (younger and older generation) for this powerful event bringing the Vietnamese-Edmonton community together.

Limited tickets are also available for purchase in-person at King Noodle House Pho Hoang 10615 97 St. during operating hours Wed-Sun 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Nov. 23. This cash ticketing option is meant for older generation Vietnamese who may not have easy access to purchasing tickets online.

Due to the nature of the event, food portioning and venue capacity, there will be NO tickets available at the door on Nov. 26.

Please get your tickets in advance!

Please note: due to the nature of this event, we cannot accommodate dietary needs.

There will be a mix of meat and vegetarian food options available.

About Chúng Ta Cùng Nhau

Chúng Ta Cùng Nhau (“We are Together”) is a Vietnamese-Canadian grassroots initiative based in Edmonton, Alberta, dedicated to creating in-person and digital spaces where adult children of immigrants can reflect on, reclaim, and reconnect with their cultural heritage. We are building a community that explores our generational identity as Canadian children of immigrants.

Through storytelling, art, education, and community events, we honour the journeys of our parents, explore our shared generational identity, and build bridges across the Vietnamese diaspora—preserving the past, celebrating the present, and shaping a shared future together.
