An evening of readings by contemporary queer poets Troy Cabida, Jaime Lock, William Rayfet Hunter, and William Wyld, hosted by London-based publisher fourteen poems.

fourteen poems is a celebration of queer poetry, publishing books that spotlight the world’s most exciting LGBTQ+ contemporary poets.

Troy Cabida is the author of Neon Manila (2025), a Poetry Book Society Recommendation. He has two pamphlets, War Dove (2020) and Symmetric of Bone (2024), a Poetry Book Society Pamphlet Choice. He is a London-based poet, writer, co-editor for fourteen poems, producer for Poetry and Shaah, and library assistant for the National Poetry Library.

Jaime Lock is a trans writer/director from the Isles of Scilly. Clan (2024), his first film, won the Celtic Film Award at FOCUS Wales Film Festival, the Queer On Screen Award at Cornwall Film Festival, and was nominated for the Spirit of the Festival Award at Celtic Media Festival 2025. Jaime’s debut poetry pamphlet, She will need a stable boy, was published in 2025 by fourteen poems.


William Rayfet is a British-Jamaican writer from the North West of England. They now live and work in East London. Their non-fiction writing has been published by VICE, Dazed, and the Evening Standard. Sunstruck, their debut novel, won the #Merky Books New Writers' Prize 2022.

William Wyld is a poet and visual artist from London. Their debut pamphlet The Butterfly Bush is out now with Bad Betty Press.
