The Old Blind Dogs are legendary and are no strangers to Comrie although this visit is long overdue. They've not been in the village since 2017 so it's time for a party!

They are a multi-award winning band with a line-up from the world of Scottish folk music that is approaching superstar status. Founder member Jonny Hardie is joined by Aaron Jones, Mike Katz and Donald Hay.  The 'Dugs' were inducted into the BBC ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards Trad Music Hall of Fame and celebrated thirty years on the road in 2022 by launching their fourteenth studio album 'Knucklehead Circus’.

Together they create a sound that is uniquely Old Blind Dogs and which still stands at the forefront of the Scottish roots music revival. It’s fair to say that their style, drawing as it does from the rhythms of Middle Eastern, rock, reggae, jazz and blues music went on to influence many bands, but nobody does it like the Dogs!
