Valediction of the Bishop of Oxford

The Dean and Chapter of Christ Church have great pleasure in inviting you to the Valediction of the Bishop of Oxford at 5.05pm on Sunday 31 May.

Booking closes at 10pm on Sunday 24 May.  We recommend securing a ticket at your earliest convenience as demand for places will be extremely high and only a few seats will be reserved for worshippers who arrive without a ticket.

Upon booking, you will be issued, by email, with an electronic ticket bearing a QR code (i.e. a barcode) for each guest. Please bring these, or the confirmation email, with you and be ready to show them to Cathedral staff in the queue on the night.

The doors will open half an hour before the service and we ask that you are in your place ten minutes beforehand, at which point any unoccupied spaces will be offered to the public queue.

There are public car parks at Oxpens (OX1 1RQ) and Westgate (OX1 1TR), though we would recommend the Park and Ride schemes, which often prove the easiest way to travel into the city centre. There are three public bays on St Aldates (right outside Christ Church), and a further two in Pembroke Square (opposite Christ Church), for use by Blue Badge holders.
