Christchurch Rotary’s Dinner About Town
A unique three‑course dining experience across Christchurch town centre, supporting local restaurants, and fundraising for our headline local charity Parkinson's UK(Christchurch) and Rotary community projects.

How It Works
- Book Your Tickets - This secures your places at the event
- Choose Your Menu Options - These will be provided in July and you will need to give us your choices by 15th August.
- Enjoy the Event
You will start the evening at our Champagne Reception at Christchurch Sailing Club. As well as champagne and canapes, (non-alcoholic drinks also available), you will also learn which restaurants you will be visiting for the evening.
Before You Book – Important Information
Guest Details Required
For each guest, you must provide:
- Full name
- Their own email address
- Their own phone number
Email Address Requirements
- Each guest should ideally have a unique email address.
- If this is not possible, a maximum of two guests may share the same email address.
- Please double‑check all email addresses before completing your booking.
- All event communication—including menu choices, restaurant allocations, and updates—will be sent directly to each guest by email. It is therefore vitally important that we have the correct contact information for all guests.
Accessibility & Dietary Information
- Menus will include vegetarian options.
- Allergy information will be provided for all dishes.
- Due to the nature of the event, we may not be able to accommodate guests with severe or complex allergies.
Mobility Requirements
This event involves walking between restaurants in Christchurch town centre.
- Participants must be able to walk between venues within the allotted time.
- The event runs to a strict timetable, and meals will be served at set times.
- There will be 15 minutes between courses to walk from one restaurant to the next.
Please ensure all members of your party are comfortable with this before booking.
Data Permission
By completing your booking, you confirm that:
- You have permission from each guest to provide their name, email address, and phone number.
- This information will be used solely for managing your booking and communicating essential event details.
Marketing Consent
If the marketing box is ticked by the Lead Entrant during booking, this permits us to retain and use the Entrant’s personal information to promote future events organised by us.
- This information will not be used for any other purpose.
- It will never be given or sold to any third party for marketing.
- Entrants may opt out at any time by emailing us.
Payment & Confirmation
Once payment has been received, you will automatically receive an email confirming your order and payment. Further details, including menu selection and reception arrangements, will be sent closer to the event.
Refunds & Transfers Policy
- Tickets are not transferable.
- If an Entrant is unable to attend, please email us as soon as possible.
- If we are able to resell the booking, we will refund you 90% of the ticket cost.
- We apologise that we can not be more flexible, however as this is a fundraising event we need to ensure that event costs are covered and the maximum possible proceeds reach our headline charity and Rotary good causes.
