Join us for an extraordinary event from April 8th to 12th, 2024, at the stunning Grand Blue Fafa Resort and Spa in Golem, Albania. 

"Global Roots, Local Fruits: Navigating Polycentric Fundraising in Christian Missions" is a gathering designed specifically for Christian leaders and fundraisers in churches and ministries that want to accelerate the fulfillment of the Great Commission. 

This gathering is hosted by the Ministry Fundraising Network of the Lausanne Movement.

Accommodation and Event Fees:  

• Single room - 90 Euros per person per night -  full board and access to the event. (Single supplement included) 
• Twin or double room  -  58 Euros per person per night - full board and access to the event.

In the afternoon of the 11 of April, there will be a guided tour of the city of Durres, a vibrant port city steeped in history and culture.

This gathering will focus on exploring a polycentric approach to fundraising, recognizing the diverse cultural, economic, and spiritual landscapes that shape the global Christian community. This unique approach respects the varying contexts across different regions and denominations, allowing for more effective and inclusive fundraising strategies.

 Through short presentations, small group discussions, and brainstorming sessions we will delve into the intricacies of this approach, addressing questions like:

1. What are some of the cultural perceptions and sensitivities about money and fundraising in different parts of the world?

2. What do effective fundraising models and strategies look like in different parts of the world?

3. What are the key steps Christian leaders and fundraisers in different places have taken to grow giving locally?

4. What are the essential ingredients and practices for building trust, accountability, and credibility that can pave the way for the involvement of local churches and believers in mission?

5. How to craft fundraising messages that resonate with the cultural and faith values of diverse Christian communities?

6. How can fundraising and business as mission strategies work together to reach and inspire more local Christians in developing countries to give generously?
