Find. Win. Keep. Grow.
Fundraising Strategy Intensive for Christian Ministry Leaders and Fundraisers.
- 📅 3 & 5 November 2026
- ⏰ 10:00 am–1:00 pm (UK time) each day
- 💻 Live sessions on Zoom
Most Christian ministries, including yours, are fundraising. They send out appeals and emails to their supporters. They share about their work with churches and community groups. They cultivate major supporters. They produce newsletters and prayer diaries. They host prayer meetings and events. But being busy with fundraising activities is not the same as having and implementing a robust fundraising strategy.
Here are some questions to consider:
- Do you know which fundraising activities are actually bringing in the 'right types' of supporters?
- Do you know how many supporters are leaving your charity each month, or each quarter?
- Do you understand which groups of supporters have the greatest potential to give more to your cause?
- Are you investing enough in finding new supporters, or relying too heavily on the people who already give?
- Could you explain your fundraising priorities for the next twelve months on one sheet of paper?
- And, perhaps most importantly for a Christian ministry: Is the way you fundraise genuinely shaped by your theology of generosity, or have you simply adopted the techniques of the wider charity sector and added some Christian language around them?
This is not another fundraising webinar ...
Across two highly practical three-hour sessions, Redina Kolaneci will take you through a structured process for examining your existing fundraising, identifying the opportunities that matter most and beginning to build a practical fundraising strategy for the next twelve months.
In addition to this, you will get to work on your ministry's fundraising plan, think about your supporters and your fundraising challenges throughout the course. There will be teaching, exercises, breakout discussions, live problem-solving Q&A and more.
Why learn fundraising strategy with Redina Kolaneci?
Because Redina brings together thinking and insights in three areas that are often separated in Christian fundraising:
Biblical thinking about generosity. Redina's approach begins with a biblical understanding of God as provider, generosity as part of Christian discipleship and fundraising as an invitation for God's people to participate in God's work. Her training asks not only “How can we raise more?” but also “What kind of relationship are we creating with the people who support our ministry?”
More than 25 years of donor and fundraising insight. Redina's work in Christian giving began in the 1990s through research into why Christians give, how they make decisions about giving and what builds long-term commitment to Christian organisations. Since then, she has worked as a fundraising consultant, trainer and strategist with Christian charities and ministries, helping organisations examine their supporter bases, strengthen donor communications, develop fundraising programmes and translate ambitious ministry goals into practical fundraising plans.
That means this strategy workshop is not built around fundraising theory alone. It draws on years of seeing what happens inside Christian ministries — what works, what gets neglected, where strategies fail and where relatively simple changes can unlock considerable opportunity.
Strategy grounded in evidence. Fundraising strategies should not be built simply around the activities ministries enjoy doing or have always done. This training will show you how to make better use of supporter segmentation, donor behaviour, retention, acquisition, giving patterns and fundraising performance to decide where to invest your limited time and money.
A practical framework you can remember. At the heart of the course is Redina's simple strategic framework:
- FIND: Who else could care about your mission?
- WIN: How will you turn interest into active support?
- KEEP: How will you build relationships that last?
- LIFT: How will you help existing supporters grow their participation and generosity?
Rather than producing a strategy document that disappears into a folder, you will use these four questions to organise goals, audiences, activities, budgets and measures.
Why should you attend?
Because one of the greatest risks in fundraising is doing too many things without knowing which ones matter most.
You may be sending four appeals a year without understanding which donor groups respond. You may be investing heavily in acquiring names but have no effective process for converting them into donors. You may be losing supporters after their first gift. You may have generous long-term supporters who have never been invited to consider regular, major or legacy giving. You may be communicating with everyone in the same way. Or your ministry may have reached the point where fundraising needs to become more intentional and less dependent on individual relationships, historical habits or the next urgent financial need.
This training will help you step back from the immediate pressure to raise the next £10,000 and ask a bigger question: How do we build a stronger fundraising programme for the next three to five years?
Who is this training for?
- CEOs and ministry leaders who make decisions about fundraising
- Fundraising managers of Christian ministries
- New fundraisers and communications staff who want to get it right from the start
- Leaders of mission organisations or international networks
- Leaders of church-based ministries
- Leaders of Christian ministries wanting to develop a more strategic approach to fundraising
In fact, this training may be particularly valuable to you if fundraising is currently one of the seventeen things on your job description.
