Fundraising in 2027 is likely to become more difficult. Your supporters are experiencing increased pressure on household finances, competition for charitable giving is growing, and in your ministry, you may already be thinking about how to make your fundraising more effective.

With your 2027 plan, targets and communications calendar in place, you may be asking: How can we make our fundraising work harder in 2027?

Your charity’s database is one of the best places to look for answers: it already holds your supporters’ stories.

In this practical 90-minute workshop, Redina Kolaneci will introduce four essential fundraising reports for Christian charities. She will show you how to look beyond headline figures, spot key patterns and ask better questions of your data.

Your database, however, can only tell you part of the story. It can tell you what a donor has done, but it cannot always tell you why they did it. That is why Redina will also show you how to select 10 supporters and how to talk to them.

Redina will provide you with the questions you need to ask to discover what first connected supporters to your ministry, why they keep giving, what they value, and whether their relationship with you has changed over time.

During an interactive 90-minute session, you will learn:

  • the four fundraising reports your ministry should run and interpret;
  • how to spot important changes, patterns and anomalies in your supporter data;
  • how to uncover opportunities within your existing supporter base;
  • how to decide which findings deserve further investigation;
  • how to use conversations to understand the people behind the numbers;
  • how to turn what you discover into practical fundraising decisions during 2027.

You will leave with:

  • a clearer understanding of what your fundraising data can tell you;
  • a greater confidence in asking the right questions of your database or CRM team;
  • a simple framework for speaking with your donors and listening well;
  • and plenty of insights for unlocking more generosity from your supporters by improving your appeals, stewardship and donor journeys.

You do not need to be a data analyst to benefit from this training. You need to become more curious about your supporters and more intentional about using the information you already have recorded in your database.

Four fundraising reports. Ten donor conversations. A better starting point for 2027.

Before launching your next appeal or new donor acquisition campaign, why not spend 90 minutes discovering what your supporters are telling you through their giving and in their own words?

Who is this training for?

  • CEOs and ministry leaders who make decisions about fundraising;
  • Fundraising and database managers of Christian ministries;
  • New fundraisers and communications staff who want to get the right insights from their data;
  • Leaders of mission organisations or international networks;
