Steady Hearts. Faithful God.
Christian Fundraisers Meetup: Stepping into 2027 with prayer, focused on Scripture and anchored in His hope.
“They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.” — Psalm 112:7
We do not know exactly what 2027 will bring. For many Christian ministries, there may be financial pressures, difficult decisions and uncertainty about income. As fundraisers, we may begin the year carrying ambitious targets alongside questions we cannot yet answer.
So, before the new year gathers pace, I would love to invite you to stop for one hour and join us for prayer and fellowship.
Every January, I gather Christian fundraisers for a simple time of prayer, Scripture and encouragement. There are no presentations. No talk of fundraising techniques. No strategy session. Instead, we make space to bring our work before God, listen to His Word and remind ourselves where our confidence ultimately rests.
During our hour together, we will:
- Reflect on Scripture and what it means to remain steadfast when circumstances feel uncertain.
- Pray for our own hearts, our colleagues, our donors and the ministries we serve.
- Bring before God the financial pressures, fundraising targets and difficult decisions that may lie ahead.
- Pray for wisdom, courage, generosity and provision throughout the year.
- Take time to listen to God and renew our trust in Him before the busyness begins.
Why come along?
Because uncertainty can easily make us anxious, reactive or too focused on numbers. But Christian fundraising really begins somewhere else. We plan well. We work hard. We ask boldly. We steward relationships faithfully. But our security is not ultimately found in a fundraising forecast or a spreadsheet of major donors.
Psalm 112 speaks of a heart that is steadfast because it trusts in the Lord.
That is how I would like us to begin 2027. Not pretending that this year will necessarily be easy, but celebrating together that God is faithful, His purposes remain secure, and we do not carry the responsibility of funding His work alone.
If you are a Christian fundraiser or ministry leader, I would love you to join us.
Come as you are. Bring your plans, your concerns, your hopes and your heart. Let us begin 2027 together, standing firm, trusting God and encouraging one another for the year ahead.
With blessings,
Redina and Christian Fundraising Consultancy team
