Using English for Outreach is an opportunity to get together online and learn about how to share the Christian faith with internationals.
If you teach English classes, lead or help at an international café, or simply engage in befriending internationals in your community, this webinar will provide you with ideas on how to take the first steps to introduce Jesus into the conversation. Discover inspirational ideas and hear stories of engagement, no matter whether you are already running a programme, or just considering outreach to your local "international" community.
Come and learn from Christian English language teachers and leaders, who'll share their thoughts and knowledge in a seminar-style format, with an opportunity for Q and A afterwards. Hear from:
Mark Vernon, Co-Missions Cross-cultural Co-ordinator, on how to use the Bible openly in an international café setting.
Rachel Chard, Friends International Head of Hard to Reach, on how to introduce the gospel when working with international students.
William Bradridge, St Leonard's International Café Co-leader, on how to use a secular event to encourage befriending and outreach to refugees, asylum seekers and second language speakers new to the UK.
Designed for churches and individuals involved in or considering ESOL outreach in the UK.
Tickets are £5 each, with an option to book up to five spaces for you and your church team.
Book your ticket and on the evening, come ready to learn, ask questions and leave encouraged to share your faith simply and effectively with your international community.
