Basecamp 1 - DELVE (For Home Educated Young People

We introduce you to DELVE, a Christian faith focused group for Home Educated young people, exploring the Bible and learning how we can live like Jesus in the 21st century.  Each day will accommodate two different age groups, 8-12s and 12-16s (please see the small print below).  Plus, every themed day will include an activity, which is listed in the description below.

Please bring along a packed lunch for the day, which starts at 09:00 and finishes at 14:00.  Specific information for each day will be sent in advance.  The day will include an activity and a Bible themed session.

CYM's Basecamp is our educational focused programme offering, which includes a variety of opportunities to try different activities and enjoy space to explore values.  We believe in making a safe space for young people to become more independent, therefore, where appropriate, we respectfully ask that all parents/carers consider not accompanying their child during the day.  A separate office/lounge space is available to stay in throughout the time where we can ask for support if required.

This is what the programme will include:

November's theme: The Christmas story/ Activity: UV Dodgeball

January's theme: New life/ Activity: Archery

February's theme: Jesus walking on water/ Activity: Kayaking

March's theme: Easter, The Last Supper/ Activity: International Cooking

Please note that each programme day has a minimum booking number of 6 participants, for each age bracket, i.e. min. 6 for 8-12s, min. 6 for 12-16s.  If this is not achieved, then the programme date or age group will need to be cancelled.  This will be communicated one week before.  A booking fee has been added to cover the expense of Ticket Tailor and our transaction merchant.
