is the owner and operator of Green Building Specialists, an independent energy assessment company providing no-cost NYSERDA residential energy assessments. She is also the founder of Hudson Valley Green Homes, a real estate firm specializing in sustainable properties. As a Board Member for Mid-Hudson Energy Transition, Marcy contributes to advancing a clean energy transition for the City of Kingston.

Steve Wehr
is a retired IBM senior engineer and an EV advocate who has written several articles, given classes and presentations on EVs and charging, and run too many car shows. Steve is an EV coach for New Yorkers for Clean Power, and a member of the Town of Hyde Park NY Climate Smart committee. Steve spends all day nerding out on electric vehicles, charging, renewable energy, and battery technology, so you don’t have to

Melinda McKnight has worked in the field of Building Performance since 2011. Her company, Energy Conservation Services, Inc., is a Building Performance Institute Accredited GoldStar Contractor specializing in customized, innovative air sealing techniques, diagnostic testing as well as consulting services for architects and builders. Melinda grew up helping her dad renovate buildings and, for a time, worked in real estate which led her to the field of Historic Preservation. She brings her expertise to clients of ECS by applying Building Science to improve the comfort, durability, efficiency and indoor air quality of historic buildings using preservation standards. She owns several buildings; two are fossil fuel free and one of those is historic. Previous clients of ECS include the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and Ulster County Department of the Environment.

Jeff Luoma
is a Manager on the Technology Market Transformation team at Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP), where he focuses on advancing energy efficiency and heat pump adoption across the Northeast. Jeff collaborates with states, utilities, manufacturers, and community groups to promote energy-efficient technologies and heating electrification. He also has experience assessing residential buildings, leading weatherization crews, and conducting quality assurance inspections.

Craig Hightower
is a renewable energy expert and the President of New Energy Project Management. He helps homeowners and businesses achieve their energy goals through innovative project development and consulting. With 15 years of hands-on experience—including a full energy conversion on his own home—Craig is passionate about empowering communities and driving energy efficiency. His practical approach and deep expertise make him a trusted leader in the field.
