People's Emergency Briefing, Faringdon (Second screening) (Sunday 13 September 2026)

This screening forms part of a growing UK-wide programme of events designed to inform both the public and our decision-makers about the true scale and urgency of the climate and nature crisis already affecting everyday life across Britain - and what it may mean for our community.

Community screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing film in Faringdon is supported by Faringdon Town Council and Churches Together in Faringdon. 

Our first screening is already fully booked a month before the due date.  Therefore we are arranging a second screening to respond to the high level of public interest. Please note the revised time and venue: All Saints Church, 6.0 pm.

Our MP, councillors and community leaders have been invited to attend one of these screenings, as valued members of our community.

There will be a short non-party-political discussion after the film, facilitated by the Climate Psychology Alliance.

The facilitated discussion in small groups will create a safe space for us to share our personal responses to this reality and to begin a more open and informed conversation about how we can support the bolder actions needed to reduce the risks identified in the film and improve life, both for us and for our children and grandchildren.
