Icepops 2024

The fifth edition of Icepops (Icepops 2024) is happening – this time as a Pocket Edition (meaning on a slightly smaller, but no less inspiring or fun, scale). Icepops will take place at Leeds Beckett University (city campus) on Thursday 5th September and Friday 6th September 2024. The main conference will start at lunchtime on 5th September and include an evening social. The ALT CoOL SIG AGM will take place on the morning of Friday 6th September and we’ll be arranging tours of local libraries.

Our confirmed keynote speaker is long time friend of Icepops, Kyle K Courtney, Copyright Advisor, Harvard University. The programme will be published in July 2024 and include lightning talks and a world cafe. Ticket price will include two half day events, refreshments and an evening social on Thursday 5th September. Accommodation is not included and must be booked separately. 

Icepops Cancellation policy: If you cancel your place up to 28 days before the conference, you will receive a full refund (minus a £15 admin fee). If you cancel 15-27 days before the conference, you will only receive a refund of half of the conference fee (minus a £15 admin fee).
If you cancel within 14 days of the start date of the conference you will not receive a refund.
If you are cancelling under exceptional circumstances you may be entitled to a full refund (minus the £15 admin fee).
