CPI Homecoming Party & Fundraiser

Come celebrate Cincinnati Permaculture Institute's new urban headquarters in East Price Hill! This event serves as the debut of the Corner Commons, a community hub for permaculture, mutual aid, climate response and readiness, resilience, and revelry. Enjoy food, drink, open-mic talents, conversations, and connecting with East Price Hill neighbors and friends.

PARKING: On-street parking is available along Enright Ave. and W. Eighth, (to the east:) Terry St., McPherson, Wells, (to the west) Kirbert and Wiemann. Neighboring side streets within these blocks may also have limited parking, although some are narrow; please be mindful of where you park and of personal items left in your vehicle. ENTRY to the party will be through the Big Gate on Enright Ave - be sure to stop and get your door prize ticket! We will be accepting donations both at the gate and throughout the evening (via mobile phone codes).

WHAT YOU CAN BRING: We've taken many steps to make this a low-waste, closed-loop event emphasizing local, renewable, and compostable resources. You can help by bringing reusable utensils, mugs, water bottles or plates/bowls to reduce the consumption of single-use products. We will have a dishwashing station available.

You can also bring something to share in the Untalent Show - and that's open to interpretation! This "open mic" part of the party invites anyone to take the stage for up to 5 minutes (or as little as 5 seconds) to share something special to them. Sign up at the gate. 

Most of the available seating is indoors; if you'd like to sit outside more, camping chairs might be a good idea!

FOOD: We're serving a seasonal vegetarian menu of finger foods, small bites, and dessert. Coffee, tea, water, and cider will be available to drink; alcohol will not be served at this event. While we haven't planned this as a potluck, we would not turn away anyone with a dish to share, or bounty from their garden!
