The best way to learn a skill is to learn it from the best. Paint the Masters will be presented in a series of seven monthly classes, each class focusing on one of the world’s most famous artists.

During each class you will:

1) Learn about the life of one of the world’s greatest painters;

2) Take a deep dive into the works of the artist;

3) Focus on a particular aspect of their style or technique that makes their work exceptional; and

4) Paint an 11”x14” acrylic painting mimicking one of that artist’s paintings, and guided by local artist, Rita Richetti.

Cost $50 includes materials

Sunday, August 16th, 1 PM to 3:30 PM

Join local artist Rita Richetti for her next Paint the Masters workshop as we explore the charming folk art style of Grandma Moses! We’ll learn how she began painting in her 70s and created colorful countryside scenes using simple shapes, vivid patchwork landscapes, and a playful bird’s-eye view inspired by memory and imagination rather than formal rules.
