Jay Rayner is an award-winning journalist, writer, and broadcaster. Restaurant critic for The Observer since 1999, he’s known for his acerbic wit, musical talent, and appetite for storytelling.
Beyond his writing, Jay tours internationally as a jazz pianist and bandleader, bringing his distinctive mix of charm, insight, and melody to stages across the UK and beyond.
