MY LIFE

Circle & Star is proud to be the first theatre in the UK to present the brand-new centenary edition of David Benson’s legendary one-man show.
In 1996, Think No Evil Of Us: My Life With Kenneth Williams arrived at the Edinburgh Fringe and changed everything — winning awards, touring nationally and transferring to the West End. Audiences, critics and even Williams’ closest friends hailed it as the definitive portrait of the much-missed star.
Now, to mark Kenneth Williams’ 100th Birthday, David Benson returns with a beautifully re-crafted version of this iconic performance. Part memoir, part séance, part wickedly funny character study, the show explores the strange and powerful thread that bound Benson to Williams from boyhood to adulthood.
A dazzling display of stage craft, physical precision and emotional depth.
Dame Maggie Smith said of Benson: “You put the heart across me… I thought it was Kenneth!”
