C&MP — COMEDY & MUSIC PARTY hosted by Debra Tammer
C&MP — Comedy & Music Party
Thursday 26 March 2026 · Circle & Star Theatre, Hampstead
An intimate Hampstead comedy night where the audience isn't hidden in the dark. In this 55-seat room, laughter travels fast, reactions land, and every moment is shared.
This is comedy up close — warm, social, funny — with live music threaded through the night. A proper night out in Hampstead.

Line-Up
HAL CRUTTENDEN — Headliner
One of the UK's most accomplished stand-ups, Hal has appeared multiple times on Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News For You and The Royal Variety Performance, alongside Mock the Week, Would I Lie To You and Bake Off: An Extra Slice. He's written and starred in his own BBC Radio 4 sitcom and completed six nationwide tours. Sharp, warm and utterly in command of a room — this is a proper headliner, in a room built for exactly this.
HANNAH BYCZKOWSKI
Winner of BBC One's The Traitors (Series 1) and co-host of the hit podcast Ghost Huns — with over 4 million listens and a sold-out tour to its name. Hannah's comedy is quick-witted, heart-on-sleeve and completely compelling. Claudia Winkleman called her "a comedy goddess." Hard to argue.
MICHELLE SHAUGHNESSY
Canadian-born, London-based stand-up, writer and actor. Her debut album hit number one on the iTunes comedy charts; Ed Byrne has said he "can't for the life of me understand why she's not a household name." Edinburgh Fringe reviewers have called her work "comedy gold" with "star quality." She's closing in fast.
CHRISTIAN JEGARD
Brighton-based comedian, writer and self-styled "Mr Showbusiness" — a vaudevillian alternative act with BBC New Comedy Awards credits, Radio 4 Extra appearances and a Musical Comedy Awards runner-up spot (plus the Audience Favourite prize). Chortle called him "witty, imaginative and different." He likes to dress fancy. He writes for the Beano. There is no one quite like him.
ALEX PRESCOT
London-based musical comic, Musical Comedy Awards Finalist 2025 and Chortle Hotshots shortlist. His Edinburgh debut hour received critical acclaim and his comedy sketches have clocked over 2.5 million views online. Part improviser, part songwriter — he arrives with a song for every situation.
DEBRA TAMMER — Host
Actor-comedian and your C&MP host for the evening — holding the room with warmth, speed and control from first act to last.
DRU CRIPPS 🎶
Quadruple award-winner and BBC New Comedian of the Year nominee. Armed with a loop station, Dru transforms audience suggestions into improvised songs and spontaneous musical moments in real time. As seen on BBC, ITV and Dave. Five 5-star Edinburgh reviews. Sold out. Every time.
