Your Host: Alex Zane

After leaving medical school to pursue comedy, Alex Zane has been a fixture of the UK comedy circuit for over twenty years. Alongside his stand-up career, he's known for his television work including Balls of Steel and Rude Tube, and for his film journalism as the long-standing face of Sky Cinema, where he's interviewed just about every A-list actor imaginable. He also happens to be on the Tom Cruise Cake List — an achievement he never fails to mention.

As host and curator of Comedy Union, Alex brings together exceptional line-ups and creates a room where comedians can take risks, refine ideas, and let new material breathe — with the audience right there in the process.
