The season finale — and, for the first time, two sittings in one evening: 6:00pm and 8:00pm.

The last VOICES before the summer. Another evening of new voices and proven ones, in the room where proximity is the point. Then VOICES returns in September.

These sessions are all about the music. Songs performed live, in the room, without distraction — where the voice, the writing, and the moment matter more than commentary.

Each evening is curated and hosted by Guy Chambers, opening the room to a mix of artists you already know alongside emerging talent about to break.

This month's voices

DAN SULTAN — one of Australia's most loved singer-songwriters. Seven ARIA Awards, Top-5 charting albums, an ARIA-certified gold record. He has headlined the Sydney Opera House Forecourt to thousands, toured his orchestral reimagining of Blackbird with the MSO, DSO and ASO, and supported Bruce Springsteen, Midnight Oil and Vance Joy. Now he turns a new page — a brand-new album, written with Guy Chambers.

LILLA SHY — born in Rome, reborn in London. Self-produced debut album Layers (2024), relentless touring across the UK and Europe, a support for Matteo Bocelli at the London Palladium and a Glastonbury 2025 slot. New material on the boards with Ed Harcourt. The quietest type, the loudest truth.

MICHAEL ALDAG — twenty-four, from Liverpool. Emotionally charged synth-pop — infectious, brutally honest, sharp. Four sold-out UK headline tours, supports for Bastille and Dean Lewis, Reading & Leeds and BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend. 1.3M followers, 20M streams.

MIKE WILLIS — singer-songwriter, venue owner and idea guy of the Hastings music scene. Nashville-born, UK-based since 2015. He runs Ramshackle in St Leonards and the 500-seat Henry Ward Hall listening room, and knows exactly what a room like this is for. His album Sunday Flying is being pressed now.
