Drawing on three decades at the top of the international comedy circuit, he moves seamlessly between sharp observational stand-up and poignant storytelling — from the peculiarities of family character traits to the tricky art of Jewish wife swapping. He touches on the legacy of his father, a German-Jewish refugee who famously mistook Newcastle for New York, and introduces a cast of eccentric characters, including the enigmatic Rabbi Schnitzel.
