Stroud-based sound artist, documentarist and anthropologist Lou/ise Romain is inviting you to travel to the exotic shores of a Caribbean Archipelago: the islands of San Andres, Providence and Santa Catalina...
For one evening, jump on the boat and embark on a journey from reef to ridge, through the multi-species voices of the islands: the reefs and the mangroves themselves, and their stewards - fishermen, marine biologists, coral gardeners and mangrove guardians.
The evening will unfold as follows:
PART 1 - Live play, intro and opening prayer (30min)

PART 2 - Collective listening of the audio documentary 'From reef to ridge' (50min)

PART 3 - Ritual for ocean care (unknown duration)
Together, we will summon our best wishes for the ocean and our Blue Planet.

>>> There will be intermissions (ample break time) between the parts, and free cups of tea (Colombian and UK) throughout the evening.
