Have you ever wondered what beekeeping involves and whether you'd enjoy opening a colony of bees to get an insight into their fascinating world?
Cirencester & District Beekeepers offers a Taster Day with our experienced team of beekeepers which will combine an introduction to Beekeeping with a visit to our Apiary to give you a chance to get close up and see for yourself what it’s like to handle these beautiful creatures. This is a great opportunity to see if beekeeping is for you.
Bee suits and vinyl gloves are supplied, so all you need to bring is a pair of wellies (or similar footwear)!
A sandwich lunch will be provided (please indicate any allergies on the booking form)
Tea and Coffee will be available from 9:30 ready for a 10:00 start. The event will end at approximately 2:30pm - 3pm.
Please park in the Stroud Road Car Park and then make your way to Room 6 in the Sir Emerys Jones Centre (no 22 on the map)
