Sold out at the Edinburgh Fringe. Four stars. One night in Bath.
"I love watching Brendon do comedy." Comedian Michael Rice, rising star of Irish comedy.
"Finally an American who gets British comedy! Humble, political and hilarious. Pleasure to see!" -Edinburgh Fringe audience review, Michael Bown
Britain thinks it knows what America is like. Brendon Lemon is an American with Scottish and English family, and he's here to tell you what it's actually like to live there, and whether the America he grew up in ever really existed.
It's a fast, joke-dense stand-up show for anyone who likes a laugh in a pub. You don't need to know anything about comedy, or much about America. If you enjoy watching an American take his own country apart, you'll feel at home. By the end, you might even feel a bit sorry for Americans (or not, let's be honest, they did it to themselves).
A small room: just 60 tickets.
Come and decide for yourself whether it's funny to the British.

"Loved this show - definitely check it out! funny, topical but still light and loads of laugh out loud moments. I’m a Brit & I think all US and europeans would love it too." -Edinburgh Fringe audience review, Alex W
"Spoken as an American, Brendon did a fantastic job capturing the energy of the dumpster fire that is the current US. And from our experience, the show was in fact entertaining to the British." -Edinburgh Fringe audience review, Veronica L
