Join us for a FREE, family friendly workshop and discover how you can turn your kitchen scraps into nutrient-rich compost!
Here's what you need to know about residential composting options in the Charleston region:
- Drop-off Program: Don't have the space for home composting? No problem! Drop off your food scraps at any of our 20 designated drop sites across the Charleston region. Learn more at charleston-sc.gov/compost
- Home Composting: Ready to take control of your composting destiny? Utilize your yard or patio to create compost for your home garden.
🌱 At this workshop, we'll delve deeper into both options and equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to kickstart your composting journey, whether you choose drop-off, home composting, or both!

Plus, attendees will snag a FREE kitchen compost caddy and a sample of BPI certified compostable bags to jumpstart their composting adventure! (One caddy per household)
