🎉 Elgin’s Fourth of July Parade & Celebration

Join the City of Elgin for our annual Fourth of July festivities on Friday, July 4, 2025! Starting with the parade and pet parade which kicks off at 9:00am at Douglas & Slade in Downtown Elgin. Arrive early to enjoy seating along Grove Avenue. The parade is free and open to all!

The fun continues at Festival Park (132 S Grove Ave. Elgin, IL 60120) with a lively evening of live music, food trucks, kids' activities, table-top games, and the ever-popular pie-eating contest, capped off by a dazzling fireworks display. The celebration is free and open to all.

• 5:00–6:00 PM – The Moods
• 6:30–7:30 PM – The LaBamba Show
• 7:30 PM – Pie Eating Contest
• 8:00–9:20 PM – The Ultimate Elvis Experience starring Shawn Klush
• 9:20 PM – Fireworks Show

• A ticket is required for each guest age 12 and up entering the VIP area.
• Children under 12  are free but must be accompanied by an adult with a VIP ticket. Please account for all children at checkout. Maximum is 2 children per VIP ticket. 
• All sales are final. No refunds unless the event is canceled due to inclement weather.
• Prices do not include taxes and fees.
• Space is limited—secure your VIP spot early!
• Re-entry is allowed.
