Time in and for planning: considering slow planning.
Prof Gavin Parker and Dr Mark Dobson, University of Reading, will set out how time arrangements and the squeezing of time in planning need to be reflected on more thoroughly if the quality of planning outcomes is to be enhanced and democratic accountability ensured. This talk follows on from their well-received book, ‘Slow Planning? Timescapes, Power and Democracy,’ published earlier this year.
