Yukiko Tominaga was born and raised in Japan. She was a finalist for the 2020 Flannery O’Connor Award for Short Fiction, selected by Roxane Gay. Her debut novel See: Loss. See Also: Love., published by Scribner in 2024, was longlisted for the 2025 PEN Open Book Award and a Martin Cruz Smith Award for Emerging Diverse Voices. She is a contributing editor at Counterpoint Press, where she helps to introduce never-before-translated books from Japan to English-language readers.

Biliana Voutchkova is an internationally active composer-performer, violinist, interdisciplinary artist, improviser, educator, and curator with a distinctive and unconventional artistic language. Rooted in deep listening, her classical training, and her long-term development as a contemporary artist, she explores states of spontaneity and intuitive resonance within a multifaceted practice. Biliana is the founder and curator of the DARA String Festival and a member of the composition faculty at HKB Bern. At the core of her practice lies the connection between inner world and sonic space.
