Learn about the various pigments and patterns that can be transferred from plant to fabric with bundle dyeing and steam! We will make cotton scarves imbued with botanical magic. We will discuss fiber preparations and color shifting with modifiers. Bring a notebook if you prefer to take notes. All materials will be provided. 

Plant materials will be provided, but feel free to bring flowers from your garden if you want to try them out! Tickseed, goldenrod, marigolds, roses and cosmos are just a few that are known for their dye properties. Bring colorful flowers and leaves to experiment with! The more color the better.
