We are delighted to announce the VisionÉire Pop Up Art Exhibition and Showcase here at The Homestore.ie.

Founder of VisionÉire Maria Johnston & Flag Ship Ogham Sculpture artist here Luke Reddy will both be showcasing their art here The Homestore.ie. This is an exclusive and special opportunity to see their art, meet them in person and receive a live transmission from Maria.

Maria will share with us a bit about her journey as an visionary artist and how she goes about visioning and creating her paintings. She will also chat about setting up Visionéire, how that came about, the future of Visionéire and how others can become involved.

About Maria and her Art:

Maria Johnston is an Irish visionary artist from County Kildare. Her work focuses mainly on the subconscious, spiritual, or internal realms of the ‘unseen’. Maria aims to make these unseen realms visible by translating her visionary experiences into detailed paintings. She is adept with experience of working with and accessing visionary realms through altered states like dream time and meditation from which most of the subject matter of her artwork comes. Her work also draws much inspiration from her avid interests in myth, mysticism, science & spirituality, nature, and astrology. Her latest body of work is focused upon the stories in Irish mythology, the Deities, Gods & Goddesses, Ancient Irish tradition, and the Celtic wheel.

About Luke and his Ogham Sculptures:

Luke is an artist living on the northwest coast of Ireland in county Sligo. His artwork is his way of creating a deeper connection with both the beautiful history here on this island as well as a deeper connection with life, nature and our world around us.

Each piece is unique, resonating its own significant energy and telling its own story, delicately crafted by hand with love and intention, forever encapsulating its energy in stone.

Lukes’s inspiration comes from the art of our ancestors, the stories and legends of the people who walked this land before us and the knowledge that they once possessed.

He was one of the first Artist here in The Homestore, we love having his work here instore!

VisionÉire was formed by Maria Johnston in 2023 and is a collaborative platform for creatives and like-minds with the intention to bring together and showcase the work of the new wave of Irish visionaries, seers, artists, musicians, poets & storytellers here in Éire and abroad. VisionÉire is the seed of the songs of our ancestors, of what was and what has yet to come. It is a recognition of this seed in every artistic expression born of this land through its people wherever they may be across the globe. VisionÉire is a community space where the people come together to sew the seeds of their creative expression on the fertile soil of this land to see it grow. This a collaborative space that represents the single thread of Imbas that weaves through every heart - a vision of the infinite tapestry it creates.
