CLAN Cancer Support is a shining light in the dark for anyone affected by cancer and is delighted to be delivering virtual artist-led workshops for NHS Staff to capture their everyday heroic efforts in caring for the Grampian community and the continuous fight against coronavirus.
The creative workshops will run in January and aim to deliver therapeutic benefits as artists spend time with NHS Staff providing them with an opportunity to share their personal experiences expressed through their own creative input.
Fiona Fernie, Head of Income Generation and Business Development commented:
"Thanks to the funding from NHS Grampian Endowment Fund CLAN Cancer Support are giving NHS Staff the opportunity to take part in a series of art workshops to help lift the NHS Staff spirits. It has been challenging year and we wanted there to be a sculpture for the north east community to recognise their heroic efforts as part of CLAN's Light the North public art trail."
The workshops are open to all NHS Staff wanting to take part.
