presently in rehearsals for what will be three wonderful nights of drama in May.

DATES: Thu 21st - Sat 23rd May, 2026 – Doors open at 7.00 – performances start at 7.30pm.

ABOUT THE PLAYS:

James Fritz’s Four Minutes Twelve Seconds is highly topical and tells the story of Di (played by
Pauline Hoban)
and her husband David (played by Paul Dicker) whose lives are turned upside down
when they discover that Jack, their only son, has recorded an intimate video with his now ex-
girlfriend Cara (played by Aédammair Maguire).

When the video is uploaded and goes viral Di and David try to blame Jack’s friend Nick (played by
Patrick O’Toole).

The play centres especially on Di as she struggles to come to terms with the repercussions of the
video. Her relationships with her son and David are tested as she learns the truth from Nick and
Cara. There are several twists and turns in the play, which will keep you on the edge of your seat as
the tension mounts between the four characters.

*The society advises that due to the nature of the content and explicit language used in the play that admission is restricted to over 16's.*

David Tristram’s Murder on a Budget is a sharp, satirical comedy that parodies the classic "whodunnit" genre. The play features the eccentric Inspector Drake and his bumbling assistant, Sergeant Plod, as they attempt to solve a suspicious death at a health farm.

The humor stems from the absurdly low production quality and the characters' self-awareness of their tight financial constraints. Expect meta-theatrical jokes, physical slapstick, and deliberate plot holes. It’s a fast-paced romp that values laughs over logic, poking fun at amateur dramatics while delivering a chaotic, "budget-conscious" mystery that keeps the audience guessing—and giggling.
