Who it’s for
For people who would like to create and run a training course. You feel like you have enough skills and experience in a particular topic to share with others, but you’re not sure how to go about turning that into a valuable training course. This course will be best suited to people who work in digital and tech, but would be useful for others as well.
There will be a maximum of 8 attendees, to ensure that each attendee has the time and attention needed.
What the course will cover
What good training looks like
Understanding your audience
Writing learning objectives
Helping your trainees to practise
Just enough content
Facilitating with confidence
By the end of the course, you’ll have a solid plan for how to write your training course. If you do enough homework, you can have the whole course created and ready!
We won’t be covering facilitation or logistics in detail, but I’m happy to talk about these in follow-up chats, or run another course.
About the trainer
Clara has been working in design and research in digital for over 17 years, and building capacity through training and coaching has been a core of her experience throughout her career.
During her 8 years at GDS, she created 12 training courses, ran them 73 times, for over 1400 trainees. The feedback has been great.
Her mum, grandma and great grandfather were all teachers so it was inevitable really.
You can find Clara on twitter.
