Irish Language Comic Book Making Camp - Session One
Irish Language Comic Book Making Camp - Session One
Join comic book artist Aidan Courtney for this3-hour camp on drawing and making comics as Gaeilge.
Children will work in Irish to learn about different comic book styles, drawing techniques and develop storylines to produce their own mini comic book. Children will then work together to create a web comic containing the comic strips and a visual dictionary , which will be uploaded to the Clare Libraries website. This camp will be delivered primarily through Irish. The purpose of the camp is to increase the children's vocabulary in Irish through fun activities. They don't have to be good at Irish but they must be willing to converse in Irish during the sessions.
Supported by Clare County Council Irish Language Office and Creative Ireland.
Suitable for ages 8 - 12 years. One booking per child. This booking is for session one. Session two is a repeat of session one.
